September 11 – Cyborg Trio with Alex Russo and Mad Mauritian
Cyborg Trio
The innovative Cyborg Trio are known for their dynamic, psychedelic improvisation and carefully crafted beats. Eric, Sammy and Tim released their fully improvised “jam” album in early 2009 and since then have been getting more exposure in both the local and national scenes. Their tight, trance-inducing tunes are reminiscent of a DJ; you’ll have to keep reminding yourself that these guys are playing live instruments. They bring the crowd through a journey, offering ups and very relieving
downs as the beat drops and groove waves travel through the room, filling the venue with good vibes. Self-produced and live, the new CD gives you a taste of what their live show will entail. Buy their CD “Broken Beats, Vol. 1″ on iTunes or Amazon and listen to the depth and detail produced from live improvisational jams by The Cyborg Trio.

September 18th – Jimmy Edgar with Ali Berger, Doctor Jeep and John Barera
Music Ecology and Mmmmaven Present…
Jimmy Edgar (Detroit)
Lover. Fighter. Prophet. Freak magnet. Time-traveler. Musician, photographer
and designer Jimmy Edgar is a wayward star-child streaking across the
cosmic dance-floor. Endowed with a supernatural feel for futuristic
funk, the Detroit native has been bleeping and grinding about the Milky
Way since he was a teenage humanoid. While his peers were worrying about
their grades and popularity Edgar was spinning alongside his hometown’s
DJ heroes and programming intricate beats that were unquestionably interplanetary communication disguised as dance music.

September 25th – The Chroma Concept with Creative Common
The Chroma Concept
was formed shortly after New Year of 2011. They met at Berklee College of Music, where they developed their vision and honed their sound. The group seeks to combine instrumental music with electronic styles. Centered around improvisation, they mix grooves such as Funk, Drum’n'Bass, Dubstep and Trip Hop freely within the framework of their jazz-influenced compositions. The group is currently a quartet consisting of Ezra Platt (Guitar/EFX), Mike Clairmont (Bass/EFX) Joao Nogueira (keys) and Ben Atkind (Drums). They have already performed at some of New England’s premier nightclubs (Middle East Upstairs & Corner – Summer ’11 residency, The Wonder Bar, Church Boston, Stone Church, Sullivan Hall, Mill St. Brews, Copperfields, Olivers) and Festival’s (Uphoria, Camp Coldbrook and Freak Jazz on Great Bay). They have written an abundance of original material that can withstand even the longest, most grueling sets. The Chroma
Concept is in the midst of infiltrating the US creative music scene with their mind-bending, powerful music.

Creative Common
Creative Common is the junction of Dylan Castaldi’s audio and Erik
VJblueberrymuffin O’Connell’s video, resulting in a psychedelic
atmosphere reflective of the spiritually and physically adventurous and
open-ended community which cradles them (and you!). Being folks that
enjoy a good time, we cant wait to join forces with our CC brethren for a
night of kickin it in a wicked positive fashion!
