"A light touch is known by its contrast to other elements -- it can be soulful vocals, a delicate melody, or a transcendant vibe riding overtop the song and its hard beats, deep basslines and driving rhythms. As a deejay, I always try to push the edge of the sounds I spin, to bring a mood into the mix and make the listening experience pleasing to the mind, body, and soul. It's easy to be interesting, or make people dance, or move people -- what is difficult is to provide a little of each so that everyone can take away something positive from the experience." -- Light Touch
