Garage Conference is the first independent music conference in North America focused on a single subgenre of electronic dance music (hiphop excluded). The focus of Garage Conference is UK Garage and GC 2004 was host to UK Garage DJs, artists, and promoters from 5 states and 3 countries in its first year (September 3-5 2004) with events and gatherings over the 3 day weekend. The event was a success resulting in an interview Live on BBC 1xtra 09/08/04. Media coverage was provided by BBC 1xtra and Feedback Magazine-Dallas. Garage Conference will be the first weekend in September every year to come (Labor Day holiday weekend in the U.S.). See you in September 2005.
With a list of new productions completed, along with recent DJ performances in London, UK, Seattle, North Carolina, Baltimore, the Winter Music Conference, Los Angeles, Nashville Tennessee, Massachusetts, Santa Fe New Mexico, New Orleans, and Atlanta, Jason Mundo will continue to rise, spreading the sounds worldwide and pushing UK Garage in Texas.
