DJ Ripple
San Francisco Dubstep DJ, Producer, and PromoterDJ Ripple has been spinning records and producing electronic music since the early 90's. He is a regular fixture in the Northern California party scene, and has become known for his unique vision & blending of the various underground breakbeat styles. Breakstep, Dubstep, Undergound Garage, Grime, Nu Skool Breaks and Glitched-Out Freakbeat all get mashed together into a potent eclectic brew. With an ear finely tuned and a pulse on the rave scene, his sets are guaranteed to bring about a full-on tempo fueled rinse-out.
As a producer he has had a track featured on a DJ Ghostdogg compilation "The End of Everything". An underground white label was also released with a coveted all-sample/scratch side and distributed stateside under the name Thomas Paine.
He holds down a 10-12(midnight) timseslot (GMT) on BreaksFm, the largest online breakbeat radio station. Catch him every other Saturday for the best in future breaks.
He is currently a resident at the Subscience Soundsystem events (San Francisco) and is a founding member of the group.
Subscience has been honored to host many incredible international and stateside talents including 30 Hz, the Autobots, Baobinga, B.I.G. Crew, Plasticman, the Lawgiverz, Tube Jerk, Vex'd and many, many others.
