Daniel P

Daniel got his start back in the Spring of 2002, teaching himself to play Vocal House. In the Summer of that same year, one of his good friends went on a study abroad program to France. He returned with UK Garage CDs for Daniel. Daniel instantly fell in love with the sound and started to spin it exclusively. In the Fall of the same year he joined forces with some local UK Garage heads to form the No Static Crew. The No Static Crew was an integral part of the most prominent UKG night in Seattle, Soiree.

Daniel played at Soiree as well as other offshoots from the successful night. Soiree was held at three different venues during it's tenure, spanning from Fall of 2002 up until the Summer of 2004.

It was at this point in time that Daniel expanded his DJing genres. He started to play Soulful House in addition to UKG until the Spring of this year (2005), where he also picked up Drum'n'Bass.

If you catch a set by Daniel, you can expect to hear a heavy dosage of the vocal side of UK Garage. Daniel usually plays a good blend of classic 2-Step with some bumpy 4x4 and a sprinkling of Grime.

Currently Daniel is a resident on INTHESOUND.COM. His UK Garage show airs each Tuesday from 2-3AM GMT. He is trying his hand and producing DnB, UKG, and Soulful House and working to get back into playing out in the Seattle are after his break to adjust to life after getting married and having a baby.
